Care and Maintenance of Cascade Farmstead Sheep

Cascade Farmstead sheep are a particularly low maintenance breed by design.  They flourish on pasture and hay, do not need grain-feeding, and do not require shearing. They have naturally short tails that do not require docking, and they naturally shed their fleeces, which means that you don't need to hire a shearer!  Because they are descended from ancient, hardy breeds, it is unlikely that they will require assistance giving birth.

So what do you need to do to care for these lovely, yet hardy sheep?

They need
  • feed in the form of quality pasture and/or hay,
  • clean water,
  • fencing to keep them in,
  • and some form of shelter.  That's basically it!

Cascade Farmstead sheep are exactly that...  a practical and productive Farm Sheep.
